I even built some beds, which I honestly probably should’ve done yesterday. But the point is this: I built them, and they’re good. In between the sawing of wood and hammering of nails, me and Skoll talked about Elvish and the dialect of the mudmen. It may have slipped my mind to tell him that all the Elvish I know is from ancient ruins, but it's not like he needs to know that anyway. Tomorrow I will begin working on the foundation of the cabin. I plan to situate it right outside the tower, so that you have to enter the cabin to enter the tower itself – it’ll be a nice added layer of security. Ezmerelda and Nia told me that vampires would only need to be invited in once, but what the hell do they know? For now, I need rest.
