## Days and Weeks
Days in the Galactic Standard Calendar system are measured by a period of twenty-four hours. There are five days in a week, and 368 total days in a year.

## Festival Weeks and Days
The calendar also consists of certain festival weeks and days. The New Year Fete Week falls before the first month, the Festival of Life falls between the sixth and seventh months, and the Festival of Stars falls between the eight and ninths months.
There are also three festival days, usually reserved for local holidays; one falls between the second and third months, one falls between the third and fourth months, and one falls between the forth and fifth months.
